Rates & Coverage

We believe in clear, transparent communication about the cost of care. Below is important information about insurance, payment responsibility, and our current rates.

Insurance Coverage: What You Need to Know

We are happy to work with insurance to make care more accessible. However, insurance verification is only an estimate, not a guarantee of coverage. Please note that final payment responsibility remains with the client or their designated responsible party.

We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to better understand your mental health benefits, including any applicable deductibles, copays, or coinsurance responsibilities.

In-Network vs. Out-of-Network

In-Network means we have a contract with your insurance provider and can bill them directly.

Out-of-Network means we do not bill your insurance directly, but we can provide you with a super-bill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit for possible reimbursement.

We have providers in-network with:

  • BCBS
  • Federal BCBS
  • United Behavioral Health
  • Ambetter
  • Qualchoice
  • UMR
  • Optumn
  • Municipal Health
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
*If we are out-of-network with your insurance, we’re happy to provide the documentation you need to submit for reimbursement.

No Surprises Act/Good Faith Estimate

Under the Transparency in Coverage Rule and the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for therapy services. This applies to clients who are not using insurance or are paying out-of-network. If you would like a Good Faith Estimate, just let us know and we will provide one.

Missed Appointment Policy

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations. Missed or late-cancelled appointments are not covered by insurance and will be billed directly to the responsible party
  • Fee for late cancellation (less than 24hr notice) – $50.00
  • No-show/No-call: full service rate – up to $195.00

Session Rates & Payment Options

We offer a range of self-pay rates for clients who are not using insurance benefits. Rates are based on the provider’s licensure level, certifications, clinical experience, and the type of service provided. Service fees typically range from $50 to $195.

Intern services are offered at a reduced flat rate of $10, regardless of service type. Intern services are supervised by licensed clinicians.

For an accurate estimate based on your specific needs and provider, please contact our office by phone or email.

*Court-Related Fees and Limitations

Please note that our clinicians are not forensic specialists, custody evaluators, or experts in any forensic capacity. These services fall outside the scope of our practice and are not provided by our clinic.

If a clinician is requested or subpoenaed to appear in court, it must be understood that their role is limited strictly to providing information related to the treatment of mental health and client progress. They do not serve as expert witnesses in legal matters outside of this clinical
scope.

In the event of a subpoena, a $5,000 court appearance fee is required and must be paid in full prior to the scheduled appearance.

Any additional time required for case preparation, consultation with legal counsel, or report writing will be billed at $400 per hour.

*If you are seeking a provider for a forensic evaluation or legal testimony, we are happy to provide referrals to professionals who specialize in those areas.
